Mr. Jacobs retired from Prudential Insurance and worked as a salesman all of his adult life. For over 30 years, Mr. Jacobs coached youth track, baseball, and basketball (including founding St. John Township biddy ball). He was formerly a member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis, Knights of Columbus, Lions Club (president), Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, National Rifle Association, and an avid bowler. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii. He was a devoted and happy husband and family man. He was immensely proud of his kids and grandchildren, whose activities he attended often.
