Philip K. Geile, age 91, of Dyer, passed away Saturday November 19, 2016. He is survived by his children: Linda (Robert) Burns, Larry (Chris) Geile and Phil (Tracey) Geile; grandchildren: Kimberly, Tommy, Stefanie, Mandie, Scott, Erik, and Katelyn; his great grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah, Angelica, Hannah, Aiden, Mikey, Dylan, Makayla, Ava and Brynn and his sister-in-law, Mickey Meiners. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Geile (nee Barclay), his granddaughter, Kellie Edwards and his brother-in-law, Hugh Barclay. Funeral service Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Fagen - Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John with Chaplain Steve Buchelt officiating. Interment Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery, Dolton, IL. Visitation Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Geile was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army.
