Rita Marek Obituary

Rita A Marek, age 91, of Crown Point, formerly of Highland, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017. She is survived by her son Michael (JoAnn) Marek, daughter-in-law Violet Marek, grandson Brian (Catherine) Marek, granddaughter Jessica Marek, sister Michaeline (Andrew) Stanczak and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Marek, son Mark Marek, and brothers Ervin and Edward "Skippy" Kmeicek. Funeral services will be held directly at the Chapel at St Anthony Home, W 203 Franciscan Drive in Crown Point, on Monday, February 20, 2017 with visiting from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Rita was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Quilting Club and the Altar and Rosary Sodality and enjoyed crafting. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity in Rita's memory.
