Obituary for June E Hansen

June E Hansen, age 97, of Sauk Village passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018. She is survived by her sons Roger (Debbie) Hansen and Rick (Kathy) Hansen; grandchildren Max and Eli Hansen and Amanda Lemler; brother-in-law Roy Hansen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Hansen and son Robert Hansen.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 1920 Hart St. in Dyer. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
June retired from teaching 2nd grade after over 25 years of service. Being very social and a great cook, she loved to entertain and make you feel at home. Her optimistic attitude, and peace making abilities made her loved by all who knew her, she will be deeply missed.
