Alan R. Martino

Alan R. Martino, age 73, of Dyer, IN passed away on June 30, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Donna; son Brad (Kjersti) Martino; daughter Lauren (Liam) Martino-Hannigan; son Greg (Jenny) Martino; five grandchildren; and brothers Steve and Albert.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16th, 2022, at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John, from 10 a.m. until the time of a short prayer service at 12 p.m.

Alan worked at Acme Steel for 32 years, and at U.S. Steel for seven years before his retirement.  He loved cheering on his favorite sports team, the Chicago Bears.  Alan also enjoyed fishing, traveling with his loving wife and family, and most of all, spending time and making cherished memories with his grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Alzheimer's Association be made in Alan's honor.
