Andrea J. Piekarczyk

Andrea J. Piekarczyk, age 78, of Schererville, IN, passed away on April 28, 2025.  She is survived by her cousin, Joseph Piekarczyk; special Aunt Jane Florkiewicz; and many cousins on both sides of the family.  Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore "Ted" and Genevieve Piekarczyk; and sister, Debra Hritz.  

As per her wishes, Andrea will be cremated and no services will be held.

Andrea took care of people all of her life.  She provided excellent care to her sister and parents when they fell ill.  Andrea loved going all out for holidays, taking great pride in decorating the house to her liking.  Christmas in particular was her favorite.  Andrea was artistic, and a dreamer, constantly thinking about Paris and the Eiffel Tower.  Her favorite restaurants included Cafe Borgia and Giuseppe's.  Aunt Jane and Andrea could often be found together, reminiscing about memories past.  Andrea will be greatly missed.
