Benjamin Bos

July 11, 1944 ~ December 5, 2019 (age 75)

Obituary

Benjamin Bos, age 75, of Dyer, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019. Beloved husband of Nancy Bos (nee Rudeen). Loving father of Jonathan (Brandi) and Steven (Tina). Proud grandfather of Brian, Trevor and Ryan. Caring brother of Darlene (Robert) Fennema. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents: Henry and Lydia (nee Zanstra) Bos

Benjamin served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved the Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks and could almost guarantee that one of the games were on the television. He was a music lover and even deejayed as a pastime at one time in his life.  His favorite singer/performer was Elvis. Benjamin loved dogs and had a faithful companion, that was always by his side named Charlie. In Benjamin’s free time, he loved to watch his grandkids play sports and swim in the pool during the summers with all three of them. Benjamin was a car salesman for many years and worked at Circle Oldsmobile, Ridgeway Chevrolet and Christensen Chevrolet among the years. He was always an upbeat and positive person that people loved to be around. Benjamin will be sadly missed by all of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Indiana or Alzheimer's Foundation would be appreciated.
