Betty Ann (Bowers) Karnafel

Betty Ann Karnafel, age 91, of Dyer, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She is survived by her granddaughters Tiffany (John) Mosley, Brandy (Charles) Hart, and Jamie Holtz; great grandchildren: Derek, Alec, Patrick, Reba, Debbie, Justin, Joshua, Lacey, and Logan; sister-in-law Carol Karnafel; and her beloved puppy, Yogi. She was preceded in death by her husband James M. Karnafel; daughters Sue McCauley and Gayle Holtz; parents William and Margaret Bowers; and sister Delva Beckwith.

Funeral services will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St in Dyer on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:30 am. Burial Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8 pm, with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7 pm.

Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and loved to crochet.
