Christina Marie (Brent) Johnson

Christina Marie Johnson, aged 40, born January 21, 1979, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, resident of Highland, Indiana, passed away January 2, 2020.

Survived by David Johnson, a stabilizing force in her life, her children: Corey J. Gallagher, age 21, Chloe S. Johnson, age 13, and Colin P. Johnson, age 7; Her parents Margaret M. Brent & Charles R. Brent, and Sisters: Elizabeth A.  Flannigan, Rachel L. Brent, Julianna Doyle, and Moriah G. Brent; and nieces: Elise Flannigan, Vivienne D. Quintana, Alice L. Doyle, and Brooklynn R. Wolff.

Christina Marie Johnson was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister, who has taught our family what it means to be courageous, even when life is painful and confusing. For that hard but inspiring life lesson, we are grateful, causing a profound understanding of the need to confront life’s challenges that families face in the world we live in today with grace, dignity, and unconditional love.

Chrissy, our hearts our saddened that you were never able to experience the healing in this world you deserved. You will be a strong and vibrant voice woven in the message that will be told in your honor that the victim can not only become a survivor, but the resounding voice of a wounded healer.

You will be in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave, St. John, IN 46373, on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 2-6 pm.
