Dina Bratovich

Dina Bratovich, of Calumet City, IL passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 100.   She is survived by her children Eugene Bratovich and Vera (William) Alcott, granddaughter Gabrielle Alcott (Nick Janiga), and great granddaughter Addison Grace Janiga.  Dina was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mario, and six siblings.  

Dina was a wonderful cook, and had a bountiful garden that produced a variety of vegetables used in her recipes.  She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed making outfits for herself and her children.  Dina will be remembered for her gentle demeanor, kindness, and most of all great love for her family.  

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John.  Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 19, beginning with prayers at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M.  Mass will follow at Our Lady of Knock Church (501 163rd St., Calumet City) at 11:00 A.M., and lastly burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.
