Earl G. Shisler

Earl G. Shisler, age 80, of Dyer, IN, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judith; daughter Denise (Earl) Gundelach; grandchildren Jacob and Caitlin Mavity; as well as sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Sr. and Margie.

Visitation will be held from 3 - 7 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St. in Dyer.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:30 am.  Burial will follow at St. John/St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, IN.

Earl was a member of Local 1010.  He worked for Inland Steel for 38 years before his retirement.  Earl enjoyed spending his free time golfing.  He was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
