Frances "Fran" (Michna) Rokita

Frances Rokita, age 98, of Highland, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022. She is survived by her children Dr. Theodore (Regina) Rokita, Juanita (Greg) Price, Bernadette (Raymond) Kaleta, and Yvonne (Patrick) Johansen; grandchildren Rep. Todd (Kathy) Rokita, Richard Rokita, Regan (Colin) Bonderman, Ryan (Cynthia) Grigson, Dru (Jennifer) Grigson, and Hope Johansen; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore C. Rokita, parents Andrew and Helen Michna, sister Loretta Kmak, and brother Richard Michna.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 DIRECTLY at St. Joseph Church 440 Joliet St., Dyer, IN. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.

“Fran” was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church for over 50 years and enjoyed spending time with friends at the Ephesus House. She was also a member of Daughters of Isabella - 859 General Pulaski Circle. Fran Enjoyed being a member of Clarendale of Schererville community and made many good friends.
