Gary L. Jordan

Gary L. Jordan, 75, of, Cedar Lake, IN passed away on August 13, 2021 in his favorite place, Culver, IN.

Gary was born in Halls, TN to Maurine and Frank  Jordan on September 28, 1945. He later attended Thornton High School.  He was a loyal employee of  Jewel Foods for 47 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed mornings with the boys at Dunkin Donuts and working part-time at the Manheim Auto Auction. He was also involved in Tornado's, a non-profit organization, based out of Thornton, IL.

Gary lived a full life and every moment was heartfelt.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends,  long weekends spent on his boat, and kareoking at any chance he could. He had a knack for making everyone feel loved and brought happiness to every life he touched.

Gary was very proud of his big, blended family. Nothing brought him more joy. He is  survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Bonnie Jordan; Children and Spouses:
Michele (David) Dolci, Lisa (Joseph) Bandy, Eric  (Lauren) Piec, Jeff (Shelley) Jordan, Brad (Courtney) Jordan; Loving Brother: Gilbert (Phyliss) Jordan; Grandchildren: Brittany (Daniel) O'Rourke, Stephanie Dolci, Megan Dolci, Delanie Flynn, Makenzie Flynn,  Emma Dolci, Brayden Jordan, Rye Piec, Quinley Jordan, Lowell Piec, Kaylin Jordan; Great Grandchildren: Addison O'Rourke, Ty O'Rourke, Ashton Goodrich, Maverick Ursitti,  many nieces and nephews and his four-legged friend, Abby.

Funeral services will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in St. John, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 with visiting from 2 pm until the time of service at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Gary's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
