Glenn Boske

Glenn Boske, age 80, beloved husband of 55 years of Cheryl Boske (deceased); loving father of Christa (partner Tinka Wyszynski), Amy (husband Chris Limer), and Glenn (husband James Maresca); loving Papa to granddaughters Taylor, Angely, Hailey, and Ella; cherished son of Lawrence and Geraldine Boske (deceased).

Glenn was a member of the U.S. Army.  Following his time spent serving his country, he met the love of his life at the Holiday, a weekly social dance on Kedzie in Chicago. After marrying, the couple eventually moved to Schererville where they raised their family. He was employed over 30 years as a design engineer and retired from Griffith Laboratories. Glenn loved cars, building model planes, and playing golf with his friends.

Some of his cherished memories include twirling Cheryl around when they danced; being the girls' softball coach; cheering on his children during their performances; vacationing in Walt Disney and historic Williamsburg, VA; and most importantly, being a father and grandfather. 

Glenn passed away after battling Parkinson's and cancer on Wed. July 12 in his home in Munster, IN.

Visitation will be held Sat. July 22 from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at 2:30 P.M. at Fagen Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave, St. John. 

Glenn had a special place in his heart for animals. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in his memory to Humane Indiana.
