Gregory Lee Cates

Gregory L. Cates age 30, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Schererville passed away on March 11, 2021.  He is survived by his 2 sons, Colton and Bennett; parents Mike & Lisa Cates; sister Nicole (Richard) Duncan; brothers Michael (Jessica) Cates and Shelby (Lindsey) Cates, 3 nieces and 1 nephew, Olivia, Luke, Sophia and Scarlette; mother of his children, Jesse.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 8580 Wicker Ave., St. John,  Interment will be at Memory Lane Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.

Greg was a 2008 graduate of Lake Central High School and was employed at United Rentals.  He enjoyed fishing, working on motorcycles, and especially spending time with his boys.
