Hector Steven Acuña Sr.

Hector S Acuña Sr., age 47, of St. John, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Acuña; children Julian Acuña, Jacqueline (Rafael) Nunez, Andres Acuña, Jasmine Castillo, Ashley Castillo, and Hector Acuña Jr.; grandchildren Ralphie, Addy, Abel, Isaiah, and Lilah; father Herman Rodriguez; siblings Luz (Dan) Diasio, Luis (Heather) Acuña, Gilma Rodriguez, Sharlene Acuña, Ivan Ruiz, and Carl Acuña; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Luz Ruiz.

Funeral services will begin with prayers at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in St. John, on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 9:30 am with a funeral mass to follow at the St. John the Evangelist Day Chapel at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2-6 pm.

You were always the life of the party. Your smile lit up a room and your energy was infectious. The love you had for your wife, Jackie, was well known by all. Always telling everyone that she was the love of your life. You gave many thanks to Papa Dios for your children and family. And we will make sure your grand-babies forever remember their Papito loved them. You will always have a seat at the dinner table and will forever be the “WINNER”. We know you are reunited with your Mom and you both will forever watch over us. This is not goodbye; it is see you later. And may you continue to chase the buzz!
