Beyond his professional and community commitments, Herb was known for his generous spirit, always making time to assist friends and family, which brought him immense joy. He and his wife, Kay, cherished the moments spent with their ten children and twenty-eight grandchildren, creating a legacy of love and togetherness. They enjoyed countless family birthdays, pool and holiday parties. They enjoyed many vacations including Orange Beach, South Carolina, Ireland, Hawaii and the beloved Cottage.

We want to thank Northwestern Medicine and Dr. Jong Kim for the many years of treating Herb.
