Imogene Sue (Vinyard) Roderick

Imogene Sue Roderick, 96 of Highland, IN passed away peacefully at home on February 13, 2022. She is survived by her son William (Cathie) Roderick and daughter Leslye Keil.  Cherished grandmother of Karen (Jeff) Akin, Stacey (Darin Lewis) Keil, Gary (Fiancée, Jessica Hooper) Roderick, Shannon (Terry) Keil-Seljan, Kelly (Pete) Faberbock and Sara Keil.  Loving great grandmother of Aaron Jones, Alex (Lindsie) Hyatt, Jessica (Caleb Gatt), Jeff (Michaelene Hawley) and Nicholas Keil, Jake Golden, Morgan (Christian) Pearl, Madison Seljan, Jordan (Dylan Perry), Karlie and Claire Faberbock, Zachary, Destinee, Aaliyah and Jaxson Keil.  And proud great great grandmother of Leo, Eli, Baysen, Chase and Jayden. Daughter in Law, Linda Roderick. Fond Aunt to three nephews Jeff (Peggy), Gary (Bridget) and Greg (Torrie) Jordan.  Dear friends Carol and Darrell Morrison and Jackie and Warren Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56-years Bill Roderick, son Greg Roderick, sister Janice and brother-in-law John Jordan, and her parents Clifford and Isophine Vinyard. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday February 23, 2022 at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 2828 Highway Ave., Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.  Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Crown Point.

Imogene was a proud graduate of Hammond High School class of 1943.   She retired after more than 25 years working for Fashion Cleaners. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling with family and friends.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and a good card game.  She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Imogene’s name to a charity of your choice.
