Imon R. (Utley) Franz

Imon R. (Utley) Franz, age 98, of Munster, formerly of Highland passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  She is survived by her children, Dela (late William) Short, Terry (Patsy) Franz, Jean (late Bart) Swingler and Linda (late Donald) Starks, 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband Delbert of 74 years, son Dale Franz, daughter Sandra McCrory, brothers Lonnie and Howard Utley, sister Mable Schofield. 

Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Ave in Highland on Thursday October 10, 2024 at 10:30 am with Fr. Brian Chadwick officiating.  Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave in Highland on Wednesday October 9, 2024 from 3 – 7 pm with a prayer service at 5 pm. 

Imon enjoyed her loving husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.  Her hobbies included volunteering at Our Lady of Grace, Share Foundation along with sewing, crafts and cooking.  Donations to the Share Foundation in her name would be appreciated.
