James Francis Albert

James F. Albert, age 87, of New Carlisle, formerly of St. John, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Janet Albert; sons Anthony, Frank, and George (Crystal) Albert; granddaughters Taylor, Rachel, and Madelyn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Kiernan.

All services will be private, and handled by Fagen-Miller Funeral Home in St. John.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Berrien County Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed doing anything he could outside, gardening, walking, and fishing. He was also a sports enthusiast, he loved to go to all of his son’s sporting events and followed that up by going to as many of his granddaughter's  soccer and softball games as possible. Jim also loved animals, and even showed Bassett Hounds in his younger years.
