Janet Ann (Christiansen) Allen

Janet A Allen, age 88, of Highland, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024. She is survived by her children Mark (Karen) Mitcheltree, Kay (Don) Torrenga, Steve (Tina) Mitcheltree, Curt Mitcheltree, and Paul Mitcheltree; daughter in law Julie Mitcheltree; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 siblings; and dear friend Marion Neve. She was preceded in death by her husband James Allen and son Michael Mitcheltree.

As per her wishes, Mrs. Allen will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 from 3-7 pm at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave in Highland, IN.

Janet was born and raised in Manitowoc, WI and was an avid sports fan, especially the Packers and Cubs. Her true life’s passion; however, was her family; she was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
