Jeanette Ann (Stephens) Arvay

Jeanette Ann (nee Stephens) Arvay loving wife, mother of Pamela and Michael, and grandmother of five grandchildren, passed away peacefully on Friday December 8 at the age of 83.

Jeanette was born on May 13, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, to John (Jack) and Mary (Kozlowski) Stephens. On July 11, 1959, she married Michael Joseph Arvay. Jeanette worked for the US Army in Tacoma, WA, NIPSCO and Bull Moose Tube Company.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father Jack, mother Mary and husband Michael.

She is survived by; daughter, Pamela (Kenneth) Reid; and son, Michael (Vanessa) Arvay.

Her wake will be held at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St, Dyer, IN on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 5-8 pm. Mass will be held directly at St. Maria Goretti Church,500 Northgate Dr, Dyer, IN at 10 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2023 followed by her burial at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
