Joan was born June 16, 1938 and she died on January 2, 2024. She was raised in Dyer, Indiana. She was a graduate of Dyer Central, she was a member of the Dyer Lady Lions and St. Maria Goretti church.
Proud Mom to Steve (Chris) of Cedar Lake, Beth of East Chicago, Luane (Steve) of St. John and Jay (Janet) of Cedar Lake.
Proud Grandma to Cory (Mark), Becky, Scott (Lauren), Shawn (Tiffany), Ben, Isabel, and Valerie.
Proud Great Grandma to Odin, Evangeline, Juliette, Smith, Ivy, Cesar, Rio, Grayson, and Declan.
Proud Sister to Sue (Mike), Nancy (Steve), and Don (Kathy).
Many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her loving husband James Krager, parents Lawrence and Anita Redar, brother Bob, and sister Pat.
Services will be held on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home in Dyer, Indiana. Mass will be on Monday January 8, 2024 directly at St. Maria Goretti Church at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
