Obituary

Joridan John Sinis, age 87, of Schererville, passed away on July 26, 2023. He is survived by his sister Barbara (Ralph – Deceased) Lach of Barrington, IL, brother Rowland (Sharon) Sinis of Crown Point, IN, and sister Patricia (Carl) Bailey of Georgia, and many nieces of nephews. Loving Father and Grandfather to Damein (Milica) Ivanov of St. John and Courtney (Joseph) Govert of St. John, Taylor, Mia, Liam, Rilynn, Niko, and Natalia. Preceded in death by his parents, Rose and John Sinis, and beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ann.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 5:00pm with a prayer service beginning at 6:00pm at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave. in St. John.

Joridan worked tirelessly as a laborer with Chicago Laborers Union 269 to support his family.  Joridan was a very caring person who would go out of his way to help the people he loved.  He will be sorely missed by family and friends but we all know he is reunited with his wife in Heaven.
