Juanita Grigson Price

Juanita Grigson Price, age 76, of Highland, IN, passed away on August 18, 2024.  She is survived by her husband James Gregory Price; sons Ryan (Cynthia) Grigson and Dru (Jennifer) Grigson; siblings Dr. Theodore (Regina) Rokita, Bernadette (Raymond) Kaleta, and Yvonne (Patrick) Johansen; nine grandchildren: Sophia, Noah, Luke, Levi, Ava, Jonah, Mia, Kazimierz, and Reno; and niece Hope Johansen.  Juanita was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeffrey Grigson, and her parents Theodore and Frances Rokita.

Funeral services for Juanita will be held on Friday August 23, 2024, directly at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Ave. in Highland, with visitation from 9:45 A.M. until the time of mass at 10:30 A.M.  Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.

Juanita was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church's marriage preparation program.  She, along with her husband, Greg, would dedicate time to advising couples in the months before their weddings.  Juanita loved watching her sons play sports, always gleefully cheering them along from the sidelines.  She was also talented in the kitchen, and greatly enjoyed making delicious meals for her family and friends.  Juanita was an "expert shopper", and she loved going on day trips to different shops, where she would carefully pick out gifts for her loved ones.  Before passing presents on, Juanita would take her time decorating and wrapping them beautifully.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who really enjoyed life and spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed.
