Kimberly Anne (Skowronski) Biesen

Kimberly Anne Biesen, age 53 of Crown Point, passed away on Tuesday, October 4 of 2022. She is survived by her children Anna, Isabella, Jack, and Will Biesen; her mother Nancy Skowronski; and several loving aunts and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her father Carl Skowronski, her sister Tricia Dodson, and her beloved grandparents Hilary Gillespie and Donna Wiot.

She was born April 30th, 1969, in Hammond Indiana and has been a loving soul from the beginning. Her greatest kindness was her open heart, which held love not only for her large family, but for that of her patients. She received her diploma from Andrean High School where she enjoyed being a pom while her sister cheered. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in nursing from Marquette University. She wore many hats in the medical industry, those hats putting her in positions such as nurse, Medtronic Representative, and had her working in the Cath-lab at Community Hospital. 

Kimberly loved spending time with the children of the family and could often be seen laughing and dancing with the youngest of the group. She had a carefree personality that was contagious, you could not help but be overjoyed when you were in her presence. She was a dedicated supporter of the Chicago bears and the cubs. Aside from her successful nursing career, her greatest achievement of all time were her four amazing children. 

A memorial service will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave, in St. John, on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022. The visiting hours begin at 4pm and continue until the time of the service at 7:30pm.
