LaVerne "Sally" Orr

LaVerne "Sally" Clara Orr, nee Hartley, age 100 of Lowell IN, passed away peacefully at home with family surrounding her on November 29th 2024.  She is survived by her loving son, Mark (Alicia) Orr, sister-in-law Michaeleen Hartley and brother-in-law, Leonard Medley, many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family in England and Ireland.  She was preceded in death by parents, William and Marion Hartley, her loving husband Hugh Orr, brothers and sisters, Bill (Ginger) Hartley, John (Mary) Hartley, Shirley (Kenneth) Logan, Bob (Marcia) Hartley, Arlene (Charles) Lewis and Wally Hartley, children Ronnie (late Leslie), Hughie (Betty), Terry, Linda (late James) Selph, Debra and Steven (Jackie) Orr.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 6:00 P.M. at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave. (US 41)

Sally was an amazing soul. She touched everyone who had the privilege  to know her with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.  Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, she lived a life filled with joy, laughter and devotion to her family and friends.  She had a special way of making everyone feel valued, and her wisdom will forever be cherished.  Sally's greatest pride was her family and she spent her life nurturing and supporting them with unconditional love.  She enjoyed family time above all else, sharing stories of her past, and celebrating every milestone with unmatched enthusiasm.  Her strength, compassion, and grace leave a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.  She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all those she inspired in her 100 remarkable years.  Rest peacefully Sally - your light will shine forever in our hearts.  It's not goodbye, it's see you later.
