Larry Jorsch Obituary

Larry A. Jorsch, age 65, a resident of Lake of the Four Seasons for 30 years, passed away August 28, 2017 after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side. Larry was the beloved husband and best friend of Colleen (Leahy); loving father of Joel, Megan, and Caitlin; dear twin brother of Linda (Dennis) Drozd. Also surviving Larry were his sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathleen (Steven) Hansrote, Noreen Leahy, Maureen (Timothy) Congleton, Daniel (Carole) Leahy, Bernard (Rosanna) Leahy. Larry was a loving and cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Larry was the Plant Forman at Blue Island News Paper for 45 years. Larry grew up in Dolton and attended Thornridge High School graduating class 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Shirley Jorsch, brother and sister-in-law Craig and Roberta Jorsch, and in-laws Daniel and Jean Leahy. Services will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN September 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Followed by a mass to celebrate a life well lived.
