Lee was the BEST mom, Granny, and loving wife anyone could ask for.  She was fun, adventurous, and would do anything for her family.  She was our biggest support, biggest fan, and always ready for and adventure that would end in a hot fudge sundae, dilly bar, piece of pie, chocolate cake, or some chocolate chip cookies.  She enjoyed bowling, time with her Club ladies, and lunches with her “Mafia” ladies.   The many, many memories of awesome family holidays and get togethers will be forever cherished. We will miss playing cards, dice and Parcheesi with her, as she loved playing games. She ended her series as the WINNER and the ALL TIME CHAMPION of the two deck game.  As a lifetime Cubs fan she was so excited to have to opportunity to watch them win the world series. We will never forget all that she has given to our lives! She showed us the way and guided us when we needed it most, never judging and always loving with an open heart!

To end what we thought was the worst day of our lives we now have a special way to continue to celebrate our Granny. Lee’s granddaughter Stephanie (Matt) Duran added a beautiful addition to our family. His note to granny made by a VERY close friend of the family: Hi my name is Bennett Lee. I was born on September twenty three.  It's a special day, I was carried in a special way.  Small but mighty at six pounds three. Everyone smiled when the doctor said he!  Despite my surprise, just look in my eyes. You’ll see me Granny Lee. As she smiles down, she tells you not to frown.  Because She was the first one to hold me! Duran number three I was meant to be! <3   -Alex Linz-

We Love you Granny!! Thanks for being our mom and Granny. Most of all Thank you for being you and for letting us love you so darn much!
