Louis John Panozzo

Louis J Panozzo, age 83, of Crown Point, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father Lorenzo Rossi Panozzo, mother Giovanna “Nella” (nee Bonato) Panozzo, and brothers Lawrence A. Panozzo and Martin Panozzo.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in St. John, from 3-8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10 am directly at Holy Name Church, 11000 W 133rd Ave in Cedar Lake. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Chicago.

Louis was a Veteran of the US Navy. He was a fan of the Wizard of Oz, he enjoyed cooking, Christmas, animals, and some good gossiping. He also loved to find “treasures” (while others may have considered it junk) while online thrift shopping. His mantra in life was “It’s all in God’s hands.”
