Louise C (Beck) Wolak

Louise C. Wolak, age 92, of Highland, IN, passed away on July 29, 2025.  She is survived by her six children Miles (Dawn) Wolak, Dale (Lisa) Wolak, Rebecca (Randy) Yarnell, Elizabeth Paparodis, Amy Churilla, and Kelly (Craig) Cooper; grandchildren David (Melissa) Wolak, Robyn (Brandon) Alonzo, Brandon (Erica) Wolak, Kristyn Brunn, Brianna (George) Brugos, Kyle (Ashley) Yarnell, Jena (Alex) Prall, Ted (Lexy) Paparodis, Michael (Heather Strong) Churilla, Craig Cooper Jr., and Jared Cooper; great grandchildren Jace, Olivia, George, Grant, Addison, Alaric, Adalynn, Atlas, Asher, and Teagan.  Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter Wolak, parents Miles and Mabel Beck, and three siblings.

A graveside service will be held for Louise on Saturday, August 2, 2025, directly at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond at 10:30 A.M.  

Louise was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Spending time with her family brought her great joy and comfort.  She was a talented cook, loved to crochet, and pinch pierogis with her goddaughter Debbie.  Louise found great joy in playing games such as Bingo, Keno, daily crossword puzzles and coloring.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations directly to Hospice of the Calumet Area.
