Marijean Frances (Bedell) Thomas

Marijean Francis Thomas nee Bedell, of Highland, Indiana, suddenly passed away on December 13th, 2022. Marijean was born in Chicago to Ernest and Beatrice (Gadbois) Bedell.

Marijean loved to have fun, whether going to a movie, being in nature, crushing candies, or shopping. But what she loved the most was to laugh with those around her. Her kindness, love, and hospitality drew others toward her. Although Marijean worked different occupations, the job she cherished the most was being a devoted wife to her late husband, James Thomas, and a loving mother to her children Kenneth (Sheila), Scott (Paula), Deron (Tiffany), and Jason (Jessica) Thomas. Her joy abounded when she was promoted to grandma. Her grandchildren, Lisa (Raul) Medina, Ashlee (Joel) Macha, Scott (Jacqueline) Thomas, Alexis, Alysia, Christopher, Dirk, and Jordan Thomas, will forever cherish the memories they made with her and pass those memories on to her great-grandchildren Sophia, Alayna, Trae, Joel Jr, Rayne. Marijean will be greatly missed by her siblings, Gerald Bedell, Russell Bedell, Irene Bender, and Ernest Bedell Jr. She was preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Bedell. The loving memories of Marijean will be remembered by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends may gather with the family at Fagen-Miller, 2828 Highway Avenue, Highland In 46322, on Saturday, December 17th, 2022, beginning at Noon and ending with a celebration of her life at 4:00 p.m.
