Michael Anthony Schleng

Michael A Schleng, age 66, formerly of Chicago, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026. He is survived by his siblings Maria (late John) Kuhar, Joseph (Maria) Schleng, and Helen (Robert) Wadman; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in by his parents Michael and Magdalena Schleng and his sister Madelyn McPhail.

Visitation will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave in St. John, on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held directly at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St. in Dyer at 10:30 AM. Burial will be private.

Mike was a lifelong Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers fan.
