Myron A. Pelot, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the age of 92.
Myron was born in Eldorado, WI on February 24, 1932. He served his country in the US Army as a Corporal and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He lived in Highland over 60 years before moving to StoryPoint in Schererville. He worked for Artim Transportation and received awards for 50 years of safe driving. After retiring he worked for Hammond Yellow and Cardinal as a driver and manager.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Mabel Pelot and his beloved daughter, Vicki on March 3, 2023, and his brothers Arthur, Junior, and Robert.
He is survived by his wife Beverly; they would have celebrated 69 years of marriage June 17th. Also surviving are his daughter Lori; son Jeffery (Beth); son in law Rick; sisters Delores, DuWayne (Bernard), Beryl (Ken), and Mary Ann; grandchildren Eric (Angie), Nick, Britney, Andrew, and Samantha; great grandson Caleb (Briana); and Ginny the cat.
Myron was an avid racing fan and loved to snowmobile, travel, and spend the winters in Florida. Most of all, Myron was a family man who enjoyed many special occasions and vacations with his loved ones.
Myron will be entombed at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac, WI on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
