Norma Mika Obituary
Norma Jane Mika, age 91, of Highland, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Janet Mika and sister Patty Jo Greenboam. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Mika, son David Mika, brother Joe Cabeen, and sisters Gerry Rudzinski and Beverly Faranelli.
Funeral services will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave in Highland on Friday, May 12, 2023, with visiting from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Burial Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
Norma was a member of St, James Parish in Highland and was a huge supporter of the Highland Police Department as a member of the Highland FOP, and also having a picnic for all of the Highland first responders every 4th of July. She cared for many children in Highland over the years, and affectionately became known as Grandma Norma.
