Obituary
Patricia A. Irwin, née Crawford, age 90, of Glenwood, IL, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. She is survived by her son Karl Irwin; daughter Karen (late Jeno Jr.) Streck; grandchildren Mitchell (Caitlin) Streck and Rachel Streck; and great granddaughter Olive Streck. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Layle Irwin and her parents James and Dolly Crawford.
Patricia graduated from Bloom HS in 1950. She worked at Brookwood School District 167 as a secretary until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Glenwood Ladies Fire Auxiliary and a founding member of the Glenwood Historical Society.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 25, at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 1920 Hart Street in Dyer, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
One of her greatest joys in life was taking care of her grandchildren; Mitch “Mitchie Moo” and Rachel “Bella Chella”. She was also a passionate animal lover. Patricia was a loving mother and Mo, Grandmother and GG-MO who will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society in Patricia's honor.
