Patricia (Schrader) Schulz, 89, of South Haven MI, formally of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019. An 86 year resident of Saginaw, MI, she lived in South Haven during her last three years being cared for by her eldest daughter, Pam. She was born to Ernest and Frances Flues Schrader in Saginaw, MI on September 4, 1930. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Schulz and siblings Ernest (Nina) Schrader, Erwin (Mary) Schrader, James Schrader, Maxine (Edgar) Heinzman, and Betty (Walter) Haske. Pat attended Saginaw High School and graduated from Delta College.
Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and their families. She enjoyed her card clubs, golfing, and cheering her family as they played sports especially softball, basketball and soccer. She attended church at First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw, MI.
Pat is survived by her children Pam (Mike Neiss) Schulz, South Haven, MI, Shar (Gary) Miller, Highland, IN, Bill (Joanna) Schulz, Wixom, MI and Bob (Elizabeth) Schulz, Farmington, MI. Pat is survived by Bill’s children Kyle, Ann Arbor, MI, Shelby, Virginia Beach, VA, Madeline, Ann Arbor. And survived by Bob’s children Zachary, Burlington, NC, Brandon, Farmington, MI and Megan, Ann Arbor, MI and sister-in-law Doris Fresorger, Saginaw, MI and many nieces and nephews.
Pat loved to travel and took many trips with her family. Travels included Ireland – Kissing the Blarney Stone, Italy – Tossing a coin in the Trevi Fountain, England, France – Touring the Louvre, Hawaii and Tahiti.
Pat was laid to rest in Roselawn Cemetery on Friday, October 19, 2019. Please join us for lunch and a celebration of her life at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw on Friday, November 29 from noon until 3:00pm.
