Patrick W. Crose Sr.

Patrick W. Crose Sr., age 64, of Dyer, IN, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022.  He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Susan Crose; daughter Tabitha Crose; son Patrick (Bridget) Crose Jr.; son Kevin (Bethany) Crose; daughter Amanda (Tim) Collins; daughter Katelyn Crose (fiancé Bradley Duran); grandchildren Bailey, Brieanna, Jared, Bentley, and Landen; brother Roger (Nadine) Crose Jr.; sister Deborah (Darrel) Boren; brother Michael (Diane) Crose; father-in-law Robert Hames; brother-in-law William (Lynn) Hames; brother-in-law Steven Hames; brother-in-law Steve Hernandez; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.  Patrick was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Doris Crose; brother Jody Crose; mother-in-law Margene Hames; and sister-in-law Sharon Hernandez.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a service at 8:00 p.m. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home 1920 Hart Street, Dyer, IN.  

Pat was a proud diesel locomotive mechanic who was employed at PLS after retiring from the Metra Railroad.  He was an exceptionally hard worker who loved his career, but he always made sure to put his family first.  He cherished every visit with his children and grandchildren. Pat enjoyed taking vacations to his cabin, spending time partying, cooking, and grilling.  He was passionate about his love for trains and NASCAR, and loved nothing more than passing the time watching the Bears' game in his man cave.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
