Ray was a veteran of the Korean War. Upon returning home after serving our country, Ray met the love of his life, Jeannie. The pair went on to raise four daughters together, of whom Ray was incredibly proud. It was well known that Ray's greatest accomplishment in his opinion, was his family. He was the #1 fan of all of his grandchildren, and went to every event he could. Besides spending time with his loving family, Ray also enjoyed fishing, sports, the White Sox, and his dogs. Ray's devoted wife Jeannie stayed at his side until the very end; a true testament of what love really means.
