Robert John Ruiter

Robert J. Ruiter, age 83, of Lynwood, IL passed away Monday, March 29, 2021. He is survived by his children; Susan (Donald) Hough, Laura (Mike) Maguire, Jon (Dawn) Ruiter, Tamara (Jim) Hanenburg, Kristin Erwin; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Gertrude Scheeringa, Betty Wiersma, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Ruiter, Theodore Ruiter; sisters Ida Kooy, Grace Van Der aa, Ruth Barker and Gloria Jansma.

All services will be handled by FAGEN-MILER FUNERAL HOME - St. John. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at FAGEN-MILLER FUNERAL HOME between 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with burial at Memory Lane Memorial Park immediately following.

Robert was a mechanic for many years. After retiring from Webb Ford; he was a volunteer for the Lansing Food Pantry, enjoyed bowling, riding his motorcycle and reading.
