Rosemary J Levene, 83, passed away peacefully on June 7th at Franciscan Hospital Dyer. Born on February 7, 1941 in Hammond , Rosemary served others as a grade school teacher for St. Thomas Moore in Munster and St. Ignatius in Chicago Illinois.
She was a cherished sister to Betty Bryan and Margaret Quinn, and a beloved Aunt to Karen Walsh, Mary Thorne, Maureen Wozniak, Jay Bryan, and Julie Bryan.
Throughout her life, Rosemary had a passion for the arts, singing and animals. She was known for her great conversations and her creativity.
Rosemary is survived by her sisters, Margaret Quinn and Betty Bryan.
A memorial mass will be held directly at St. Joseph Church in Dyer on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10:30 am to celebrate her life. Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hammond Humane Society, a cause close to Rosemary's heart.
