Sharron Lynn (White) Dwan

Sharron Lynn Dwan, 78, of Munster, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home Friday, November 21, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Thomas Dwan; her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth White; and her brother, Gerry White. 

Sharron was born on August 4, 1947, in Gary, Indiana.  She graduated from Lew Wallace High School and studied at Indiana State University. She retired after a long career at Nipsco working in the engineering department where she made many long-lasting friendships.

A force of life, Sharron could light up a room with her wit, humor, and kind heart. She and Tom traveled often, but their favorite destination was Hawaii where they spent many good times in Waikiki and Turtle Bay.

Sharron supported many charities, including generous donations to help the US military at home and deployed. She also supported several medical charities, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Consistent with her wishes, services and burial will be private.
