Stephen P. Vicari

Stephen P. Vicari, age 77, of Highland, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023.  He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn (nee Cooner); daughter Melissa Vicari; granddaughter Bailey Catt; brother Marty Vicari; nephew Mark Vicari; and nieces Marcy Ryka and Madeline Vicari.  Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Vicari; parents Stephen and Helen Vicari; brother Scott Vicari; and sister Mary Jo.

Steve graduated from Morton High School, he went on to play football for Missouri Valley College, and then received his Masters in business from Indiana University. After college he went on to become a proud Vietnam Veteran serving as a Staff Sergeant and playing basketball for the US Air Force for eight years. Later in life he began working at Methodist Hospital.  Steve was responsible for starting the unit secretary program, golf outings, and even a baseball team there.  He will be greatly missed.

Steve's final place of resting is Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois.
