Thomas Maloney Obituary

Thomas O. Maloney (Tom) age 44, born June 29, 1977, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend and Highland, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Tom is survived by his beautiful daughter Alice Jean Maloney (soon to be 15 years old), parents Mike and Kathleen "Kay" Maloney, brothers Craig (Elisa, nee Tragni) and Sean (Lori, nee Jusko), cherished niece Lucy & nephews Ben and Owen plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tom was raised in Highland, Indiana, attended Highland and Andrean HS, and the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (CHIC). He had a passion for cooking and worked in the restaurant industry his whole life.

Tom loved being around his family and many friends. He was always up for a game of chess or any card game – challenging any takers. His infectious laugh and kind soul brightened any room. Tom will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

A “Celebration of Life” event will take place later this year.
