Timothy A. Dahn

Timothy "Tim" Dahn, of Schererville, Indiana, formerly of Hammond, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023 at the age of 46. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Maria (nee Franz) 2 children; Emily and Xander, his cuddly dachshund Slink, and his best furbaby, Toby. Parents; Charles and Margaret Dahn, sister, Cynthia (Nehad) Mouhasseb, five brothers; Charles (Leslie) Dahn, David (Wendy) Dahn, Michael (Sandy) Dahn, Dennis (Kelly) Dahn, and Tom Dahn. He is survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by Grandparents Hugo and Dorothy Dahn, Grandmother Evelyn Clark and father-in-law, William Franz.

Tim was a loyal employee of Ford Motor Company for 21 years and he loved his job. He could fix anything, anywhere, anytime. He was the undefeated household champion of Scrabble, Scattergories, and Monopoly. He took his family on amazing vacations, Cubs games, and concerts, creating a lifetime of memories with them. 

We know he is reunited with his beloved goldens, Max and Buddy, and they're watching (on repeat) the 2016 Cubs win the World Series. We will miss his blunt, yet loving honesty, sense of humor, and the love he gave to all of us.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 from 2 - 6 p.m. at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave, St. John, Indiana. A short prayer service will follow.
