Vickie Lynn (Garrett) Marcum

Vickie L. Marcum (nee Garrett), age 68, of Dyer, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024. She is survived by her daughter Samantha (Bob) Damico, sons Cody (Amy) Phillips and Zachery Marcum, granddaughter Matilyn, grandson Justin Deangelo, sister Lela (Kevin) Murphy, brother Dean (Suzanne) Garrett, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Marcum Jr., parents Jerry and Donna Garrett, and brother Gearld Garrett.

Funeral services will take place at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart Street in Dyer, IN on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.

Vickie was a lifelong hairstylist and homemaker, she was originally a member of Dyer Baptist Church before moving to Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales, and was an avid oil and acrylic painter, belonging to the LACARE Art Club.
