Violet A. Krajewski

Violet "Valerie" A. Krajewski, age 91, of Dyer, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023.  She is survived by her son John (late Dianne) Krajewski; brothers Michael "Bud" (Diane) Lewandowski of Highland, Joseph (Judy) Lewandowski of Lowell, and Tom (late Kathleen) Lewandowski of Dyer; sister Michaelene (late Donald) Rink; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband John Krajewski; sisters Rose (Louis) Sobilo, Esther (Richard) Babusiak, and Lillian (Edward) Grimler; and numerous family members from her husband John's side.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Ave. in St. John, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.  Funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 15, at 10:30 A.M., directly at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St in Dyer.  Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.

Valerie was a homemaker, and held numerous jobs in her lifetime.  She was a beloved mother to her son John, and loving aunt to all of her nieces and nephews.  She will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Valerie's honor to the American Red Cross.
