Virginia "Gina" (Fitzhugh) Pushckor

Virginia "Gina" Pushckor, age 94, of Dyer, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. She is survived by her husband Francis Pushckor, son Ronald Lessig, daughters Debbie Hunt and Gina (Dan) Caesar; step daughters Beth (Wayne) Morris, Jenny Ross, and Amy Karr; grandchildren Shawn (Rich) Mickow, Shannon (Cindy) Tabor, Gina Laskarin, Carla Torres, Laura Filas, Paula Stam, Kenneth Stevens, Michaela Lessig, Ethan Lessig, Ozzy Lessig, and Anthony Lessig; 19 great grandchildren, and 39 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Ward, daughter Kathy Shemwell, and grandson Donald Tabor.

Services will be held at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St in Dyer on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, with visiting from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN on Wednesday, at 10:00 am.

Gina loved to fish but it was all about her family with her.
