William L. Faustin

William Lee Faustin, age 82, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025. Bill, as everyone knew him, was the youngest child of the late Angelo Faustin and Lena Faustin (nee Morganti), born on October 2, 1942 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He served in the Marine Corp from 1960 to 1964 as a Lieutenant Corporal. He then began working for Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 37 years before retiring. Bill was an avid woodworker known for his creative cutting boards and furniture. He also enjoyed working outdoors and with stained glass. Bill was always the cameraman at events, capturing memories for his family and providing laughs with his unique use of photoshop. He also enjoyed making everyone laugh with his quick wit and jokes.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister Delphine Faustin, and his beloved wife, Peggy Faustin (nee Pendley). Bill and Peggy were happily married for 35 years. Bill is survived by his daughter, Maria Smith; granddaughters Jessica (Kevin) Smith and Amy (Joe) Mallder; great grandsons Michael and Blake; brother Larry (Sharon) Faustin, nephews Mark (Cheryl) Faustin and John (Paula) Faustin, stepchildren Khristie Robertson, Scott Kirkley and their children Troy, Noah, Cole, and Cierra, in addition to many other family members and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 8580 Wicker Avenue in St. John.  Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 3, with visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
