William J. Fritz

It is with deep sorrow that we convey the passing of William J. "Bill" Fritz, Dyer, IN, Age 70. Born July 29, 1955 - At Rest September 28, 2025.

William is survived by his loving children, Lindsey Fritz and William Fritz, and his former wife, Deborah Fritz. William was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Mary Verga, and his parents, William and Natalie Fritz.

William was devoted to his family, and he especially enjoyed coaching his children's baseball teams for many years. He also cherished family vacations and road trips. Throughout his lifetime, he loved immensely and enjoyed the companionship of his four German Shepherd Dogs and his first German Shepherd "Grand" Puppy.

William loved his profession as a skilled carpenter for more than 40 years and took much pride in his work. Whether he was on the jobsite of large projects in the city or at home building anything from birdhouses to furniture to sheds, he was happily whistling and listening to music while he worked.

William will be greatly missed. His memory will live on in our hearts always and forever.

Please join us in celebrating William's life with a memorial service at Fagen Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart St, Dyer, IN, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with a prayer service to follow.
